Kansas Landscape Arboretum
Enjoy the beauty of nature on these 193 acres. Over 1,000 species of exotic and native woody plants can be observed. Nature trails for walking, a bird sanctuary, and a pond oasis are just a few of the sights to see. Located on the premises is a historic farmhouse. Wakefield Museum
The Wakefield Museum is located at 6th and Hickory. It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm from the first day of spring until the first day of winter. Winter hours are Saturday and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Seasonal changes are made in the displays. Special tour arrangements may be made. St. John & George Episcopal Church
The St. John Episcopal Church was originally located 3 miles west of Wakefield on what is now the only remaining glebe west of the Mississippi. In the early 1900's it was moved into the City of Wakefield by two teams of horses and attached to the St. George Episcopal Church. Thus, the St. John and George Episcopal Church. Republican Valley Farm Museum
The Republican Valley Farm Machinery Museum is located in the old Auld Chevrolet building on Main Street. This Museum displays machinery similar to that used by farmers in the Republican Valley through the years. There are many unusual pieces of equipment on display.
